Event Agreement

This event agreement covers the rental of our items as well as design and setup services.  Specific times and dates are included on the invoice. By submitting deposit or payment you agree to the terms of this agreement.



If event is being booked less than two weeks before event payment is due in full at time of booking. Payments can be made via credit or debit card, check, money order, Paypal, Zelle or cashapp. Checks or money orders should be made out to Sugar Coated Soirees, LLC.

Date is not reserved and work will not begin until deposit is paid and contract terms agreed to. Prices are subject to change until event is fully booked and payment received. Any discounts, specials or bundle prices are subject to change until event is fully booked and payment received.


Event Times

Host and Facilitator agree to the start and end time listed on invoice.

Event space needs to be accessible for setup at least 2hrs before start of event. Larger events may require more time.  If appropriate set up time cannot be provided an additional setup fee may be imposed to host to accommodate additional staff.



In the event rental items become damaged during event Host is responsible for the cost of repair of items. If item are destroyed or repair is not possible to restore item to previous condition, Host is responsible for replacement of items.

In the event rental items cannot be located and are deemed lost at conclusion of event Host will be responsible for replacement cost of items.


 Throne Chair Special Consideration 

No studded clothing

No blue or black denim (leaves ink stains)

No eating or drinking while sitting in chairs

Only specified number of people sitting in chair at the same time (single throne 1 person, double throne or loveseat 2 people) 



If there are any design restrictions such as no confetti, no tape on walls, ect. they need to be communicated at the time of booking.



Facilitator certifies that all equipment and items used in the event is in working condition and adherence to local and regional laws. Host holds Facilitator not liable for any damages to persons, equipment or venue as a result of accidents or improper usage of event items by event participants. Rental items and equipment is in used condition and may contain small cosmetic imperfections.


Balloon Work

Host understands that latex and mylar balloons are affected by the weather. Heat, humidity, direct sun and temperature changes may affect how long balloons last. Once balloon work is done facilitator is not responsible for outside factors that affect their longevity.

No rain checks or refunds will be given once balloons are blown. It is not uncommon for construction to begin 24 hours prior.



In the event of unforeseen weather conditions, outdoor deliveries can be taken to an alternate local location. Once installs are set up, we will not move them.


Latex balloons oxidize faster outside.They will lose their shine, and take on a smooth velvety or matte finish. This is most noticeable with dark colors. This is not a bad look, just different. We do take measures such as special coatings inside and outside the balloons but cannot guarantee oxidation will not occur. While we stand by our quality construction and materials, direct sunlight in addition to high temperatures can be damaging to latex. A little shade goes a long way if possible. There will be no refunds for damage to balloons due to forces of nature out of our control, including but not limited to temperature, sunlight, rain, or wind.

There will be no refunds for popped balloons. We take many special precautions to mitigate risks of popping and will replace if we are still onsite if replacement is possible, but we can not guarantee.



Travel fees are imposed on a case by case basis and factor distance, time and applicable tolls.  If location is inaccessible for dropoff or pickup and requires an additional trip, additional delivery/pickup fees may be applied. 



In the event host cancels event at least 30 days before event date, Facilitator will return all deposits and payments.

In the event host cancels event less than 30 days before event date there will be no return of deposit. Host will have the option to reschedule event for a later date or use funds paid to apply towards goods and services offered by the Facilitator.

In the event the date is cancelled due to causes beyond the control of the Host or Facilitator, (examples include inclement weather, venue issues, documented health emergencies ) the event will be rescheduled at a later date or funds will be available to apply towards goods and services offered by Facilitator.



Once contract is agreed to and payment sent, items and supplies are reserved and purchased for the event. Changes can be made on a case by case basis once evaluated by the facilitator if they are feasible. No refunds will be issued for services already rendered. No refunds will be issued for rental items paid for and reserved for the event, but not used by host.


Use of Photos

Host agrees that Facilitator can edit, alter, copy, or distribute photos of event to publicize services and/or in use of marketing materials in print or online.


Additional Services

Additional services or rentals may be added to this event occuring at the above specified date and time in writing. Any additional services requested and paid fo, for this event, will fall under the same terms as this event agreement.

By remitting  payment for the event Host and Facilitator agree to terms of contract.
